You will need

You will need skewers for this recipe. If you are using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water for 10 minutes before placing the chicken on them.

Place two or three chicken chunks on each of the skewers until the chicken is used up. Heat the grill to medium high and cook the chicken on the skewers till fully cooked or the internal temperature of the chicken is 165°F/74°C. Remove from the grill and allow to rest for a few minutes.

In a small bowl, mix the coconut aminos, sunflower seed butter powder and chili paste together well. Take the cooked chicken skewers and coat them in the sauce mixture by either brushing them with it or rolling them in the sauce to coat them completely. (Internal temp: 165°F/74°C)

Transfer the sauced chicken skewers to a plate and sprinkle with the shredded carrots, cilantro and green onions. One entire batch makes 6 small portions. Serve and enjoy!
